In home Caregivers are provided by an agency or an individual for a certain amount of time during the day or during the week. If paying privately for caregivers, the price can range from $18-35 an hour and a 1 hour or more minimum is usually required. Medicaid will also approve hours for caregiving if needed.

There is a point, depending on how many hours of caregiving is needed, where paying a caregiver to come into your home will be more expensive than making the move to an assisted living environment.
